User Fan Art (1 Viewer)

Love the new feature of user fanart. But didnt know how to use it untill i've spend some time in the search function of this forum.

Eventually I found this page: http://jossan.visse.nu/~spuck/FanArtVote/index.php
Which contains the most recent fan art.

I still didnt know how to make the fanart visible in My TV series. Found out that it's quite simple (but still, you have to know it): put all the fanart in the following folder: Mediaportal\thumbs\fan art, and MY TV Series will load the fan art.

I've created this thread because there already was one about posting the newest fan art, but there wasn't any information in that thread about using the fan art. Which is kinda strange.

I have the same problem, just downloaded the fanart and put it in the "thumbs" folder like it says in the installation instruktion. Can´t get it to work.

I dont know how to make this work but im not given up, i will continue to search this forum

What OS do you use? What skin?

folder probably has to be named "Fan Art" not "fan art"

if you use vista you have to put fan art in C:\ProgramData\...

I Can´t get it to work either!
My Fan Art pictures are located in "C:\Program\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Fan Art" folder. The only thing i see in My TvSeries are as far as i can se the "Banners" I have tested with DEXTER and i shows as the file attache.
Please help me with this!

My other problem is related to the filmstrip wiew in xface skin, i can´t get the folder thumbs to fil the hole dvd case. The picture seems to smal and i have tryed with high res. thumbs without any luck.

PS I am using WinXP sp2
With MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC3 and latest SVN
and XFace V1.2
