Using 3rd Party Programs with Media Portal & VRM9 Question (1 Viewer)

Hi

I´m new to this forum, so I am to MediaPortal.

Yesterday I got it installed but always when I`m starting MediaPortal it says your VRM9 is outdated although
I`ve made all Windows XP updates (including SP3), MEdiaplayer 11 and so on.

Anyways MediaPortal starts after clicking the "OK" button at the outdated window.

Another question is how am I able to use MediaPortal like an Interface to start for example WinDVD when I click on the My DVD button of it?
Is it possible to add linksto the main menu of MP to installed Programs I would prefer to use?

Make sure you have the latest DirectX service pack

To use WinDVD in MP config\DVD\Movie player, chose the WinDVD.exe in the external player box.

Hope above helps, you may need to reboot after the DX update.
