I'm trying to setup MP/TvEngine 3 to utilize my dish network stb via s-video. However when I go into the TvEngine setup and choose to preview the SVHS "channels" that are created for me I get nothing. Well nothing isn't exactly correct. It kind of looks like analog TV static. How do I configure tvengine to use the s-video as the input and then zap my stb with some kind of external zapper? I would love to switch to media portal from GB-PVR but this is obviously preventing me from doing that.

Thanks!

I would like to know myself. I've used MP in the past with Cable, but when trying to setup MP TV signals with my Dish Network STB there is no option for Satellite, just Cable and Antenna. How am I supposed to go about setting up my WinTV=PVR-500 to recieve the channels that my DishPro 301 STB is sending him. I am connected to my STB via S-vid and coax.
