    Hi
I don’t know if I’m experiencing a bug or not, so I would first like to know if I’m missing something on configuration.

I’m using the “Hauppauge PVR-500 MCE” card to connect my top-set-box for TV by using the composite-connections. The FM radio on the card is not very good so I have not been using until now. (I installed an external FM–antenna for better reception). The problem that I’m experiencing is that if I listen to the analogue radio and then switch back to the TV I don’t get the feed from the top-set-box any more. Instead I get the static-snow, which usually appears when you don’t have an aerial plugged into the analogue TV-aerial plug on the card.

Can someone please give me an idea if I should explore a possible bug or point me in the correct direction to fix the configuration.

    Many Thanks
    Geo

    Update to Radio Issue

    Hi

I will post all the detail of my box-setup this coming weekend...so I apologise for not including it in this post at the moment.

I have been doing some searching in the BUG-Tracker for something equivalent to the problems I'm experiencing and have found the following closed item which is 99% similar to what I'm getting.

    http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=288

This is how I reproduce the problem:

    1) Install 0.2.1.0
    2) Install the latest SVN
    3) Run Media Portal
    4) Listen to Analogue Radio (Not streaming radio)
    5) Stop the radio
    6) Switch to TV

The radio will start playing again, and the TV will only show static/snow. You have to close PM and restart it to correct the problem.

What is also important is that my TV channels are configured as external (for Top-Set-Box), and my radio is tuned to analogue-channels.

This weekend I will try to install version 0.2.0.0 with the latest SVN to see if it is a 0.2.1.0 issue or not after which I will log a BUG.

    Thanks
    Geo

I don't think that it is correct to apply the SVN over 0.2.1.0.

It is my understanding that SVNs should only be applied over 0.2.0.0 ....

How do I report a BUG

    Hi

Can someone please tell me how I should go about getting this logged as a bug. I have confirmed that it is happening on all installations of MP. I have tested it on 0.2.0.4, 0.2.1.0 and on the latest SVN (svn--11-17-2006--19-59-Rev11776)

    Thanks
