I have recently purchased the Dual Digital PCI card from Digital Now which comes with a remote and IR receiver. You can read about the product here.
I am trying to get this remote to work in Media Portal but have had no luck so far. On the product page linked above, it says that the remote can work with MCE, so I was hoping it would work if I selected an MCE remote in Media Portal, but it doesn't.
I have also tried selecting the General HID remote but that didn't work either. In both cases Media Portal did not respond at all despite pushing every button on the remote.
I have confirmed that the remote works perfectly in the ArcSoft TotalMedia application that was bundled with the TV card.
I am running MP on a freshly installed Win XP Pro machine with SP3, all other Windows Updates, the DVB fix and Media Portal V1.0.2 (latest stable) installed.
Any guidance in getting this to work would be greatly appreciated.
