Using the Analogue in on a Videomate S350 DVB S Card (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Need a bit of help please

I have the above card installed and is working fine under MP & TV Server 1.0 connected to a sat dish.

I now want to connect it to a STB (Sky+ box to be precise) via the analogue in port on the card (s Video
)

And now i'm a bit stuck, i have read several posts over the past few days but cannot find an answer to what actuallt nned to do to get this working, do i have to enable something?

I am guessing this card should show up as a hybrid card the dvb s which works fine and also show as an analogue card which it doesn't in device manager it is reported as a hybrid but not in MP

I feel i am missing something but not sure what, any help would be appreciated

If any more info is needed give me a shout

I have this card too, so am interersted in the answer to your question. Does MP support switching to analogue inputs on a capture card, or does it only allow use of the tuner for channel viewing?

You probably know, but the Compro SW allows you to switch to either S-Vid or Comp in and record.

No I didn't know I didn't install the software only the drivers

I will have to install it and give it a go to prove it isn't a problem with the card, and then try to get MP to play.

I am sure someone must have had a similar problem, maybe with another card.
