It might be me being stupid but still cant get it.
I have a bunch of movies on my harddrives. DVD's in ISO, IMG and so on
and then off course XVID og DivX.
The problem is that the Database scanner in MP setup cant get anything out of my DVDs, but can on some of the movies, though it sometimes finds the wrong movie.
The question is. What does the scanner check to see what movie it is? The filename, NFO or...? And how do i get the IMDB details in MP to show?
Some somebudy has a helping answer for me

It basically looks at the filename, while trying to eliminate some noise from it (such as divx/cd1/punctiation, etc) and then queries imdb for it.

For DVDs it looks at the volume name. If you have a dvd iso (or any image format) you will need to mount them somehow, not sure if the daemon plugin does so when scanning the files for imdb. I think it only does so when attempting to play.
