Using ViVo to capture s-video... (1 Viewer)

Lots og gfx now coems with ViVo (video in/video out). Would it this be a better choice than using std. Hauppauge analouge (like 150/350 etc), and would it be supported by MP?

A friend is considering a MSI 7950 w/ViVo (usning STB only). Is this a HW-based solution?

If the Vivo comes with standard WDM drivers then it should work with MP with no issues. I doubt any Vivo Gfx cards would have hardware encoding though.
