I'm totally lost with setting up MediaPortal to watch VCR player video tapes (VHS) on my computer. I do have Roxio video capture USB and driver installed and running fine but only through its software which shows a very small screen of what's playing! Any help will be appreciated.

Don't ask me to explain, I don't understand the technical details .... but unless Windows identifies the device as a tuner it won't work in MediaPortal. Therefor capture devices like yours don't work...

Thanks geov.. any idea how can I play the VCR as a tuner? I tried connecting the VCR to the computer through the DVB-T cable which came with computer but didn't work.

Question..... If you go into the TV-Server config, do you see any tuner-card devices listed? If you do, then I might be able to help you...

    So if I understand correctly.....
    1) You only have "DVB-T" and not analogue?
    2) You also don't have any s-video, composite or component input?
    3) You also have a Roxio-USB, which I already told you cant be used?

The bad news is that your existing input (DVB-T & Roxio-USB) will not work, you need an analogue input (areal, s-video, composite or component) because that is the only ones that will accept most VCR's. You can buy something like the "Hauppauge PVR150" TV-card which will have all these analogue inputs.
