Version 0.12 - Problems with scrolling (1 Viewer)

Here is my first test :
It seems your plug-in did find some lrc files.

I have had a problem with scrolling lyrics :
it starts scrolling well one line, then once or twice the text goes back and then a previous lyric is displayed.
After a reboot this does not happen anymore...?

But with many songs the scrolling is not at the good speed.
When you stop it, you don't have the "next page".
When you restart, it restarts as if you didn't stop, so it is still wrong.

SO when you stop, could it be possible to have the scroll page.
When you scroll back you must redo your calculations for speed (if possible).
Or add a control with up or down arrow to scroll the text.

Grabbing of lrc seems good.

NB : in config, I only have 7 grabbing sites, the last two ones are grey.

Hey. I should have noted that this first version of the scroll feature really is a beta, because the possibilities with the current used control isn't sufficient for making the automatic scroll quite as I wanted. There is nothing wrong with the scroll control of MP, it is just not intended to e.g. "stop and continue" and to change speed of the scrolling on the fly, as I would like to. Also a timer controls what part of the text in the scrollbox is shown, and there is no way to modify it with a proper value after a pause.

Accordingly, a method or two will have to be added to the control to work properly. I will work such a method out and take contact to a MP core member when done, and it will hopefully be added to the control class. Until then there will be various problems with the scrolling.

It is not possible to both have the scrolling effect and the static look where you manual turn to the next page. I might have the controls overlapping each other in the xml, and let the user select which to use, or alternatively operate with multiple separate screens. Lets see what happens..

It's quite surprising that the plugins grabs lrc-files since only regular lyrics sites is supported at the moment. Sounds like one of more of these contain lrc-formatted lyrics, which is a good thing. Real lrc-sites will be supported at some point in the future. Until then you can add your own lrc's with the add-function or through the lyric-part of a music tag.

The two sites that are greyed out or rather unstable at the moment, so it is on purpose.

Thanks a lot for your response.
As for the lrc, may be I already had them inside the mp3 without knowing it so I think your new version grabs it correctly from the mp3's and not from the sites. :sorry:
