Via Epia Problem (1 Viewer)

Hi.

I have a problem with myTV (see my system configuration left, the EPIA motherboard has a Via video chipset with DVD acceleration I think, but not much more).

The TV card works OK with other programs (eg Hauppauge's). Also works in Preview in Mediaportal when scanning channels. When I am in myTV, I just get a message box (Just OK, no message) and start TV "light" doesn't start.

I have tried installing and testing TV server, but same thing happens.

I Think it is because of mediaportal interface being too heavy for my poor VIA epia PC. Is there a lighter skin (with no such good appearance maybe) I could use?

You could use SimpleMP which is a light weight skin but I am afraid that will not be enough to run Mp on an Epia board. The GFX are just not good enough and CPU is very slow...You could try installing a separate GFX card but that won't solve the CPU problem.
