Area: You could add a button to the TV module that says "input" and allows you to select any video capture card inputs you might have.
Description: Just as they are "universal" drivers that TV tuners use which MedaiPortal can use to receive TV, they are universal drivers for video capture cards. Why not add support for video capture cards in media portal for such devices. Making a one-stop shop for both devices.
