Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation with a laundry list of features.

I'm looking for something that is:
passively cooled
Low Profile - using an old small form factor PC
AGP 4x/8x
can do Component out - VGA connector on my plasma is on the front, looks ugly.

What I'm having a hard time getting my head around is what the standards for things that can do component out are... Does VIVO always support Component out? Can't really tell from what I've read, as things usually just list SVideo.

What I have so far is:
Small form factor PC - 2.8Ghz P4, 512M
HDHomeRun - on order from 9th Tee
MS MCE remote/USB Ir reciever/blaster
Audigy SE PCI sound card (had it laying around)
MediaPortal 0.2.2.0 (works pretty good for videos/TV Series :D )

Once I prove the concept all the way, I'll probably look at getting the Hauppauge PVR-500 (Riser card for PCI means I don't need Low Profile, just AGP), for Analogue reception (currently have two series 2 Tivo's for analogue)

VIVO doesn't necessarily mean that it has component out. Generally I have seen them both at the same time. I did a quick search and it is hard to find an AGP card with Component that is also low profile. If it didn't have to be low profile then yes it can be found. It may be out there though. Good luck.

It's not really hard to find a agp card that does component out. I think most, if not all the ati radeon 1xxx cards do component out right out of the box. I just came back from compusa 10 mins ago and have a radeon 1300 that includes a component cable in the box. My current card, a radeon 9700, is hooked up to my HD with a component adaptor that works most excellent.
