You guys let me know if this is a known bug, because I didn't see it in Mantis.
In "My Videos", whenever I try to watch a DVD, either from the disc drive or from a folder on the hard drive, the osd menu that has things like the ability to change the aspect ratio thats supposed to come up when you left-click with a mouse doesn't show. The screen just darkens a bit, and stays that way until the mouse pointer hides itself. The menu is working when watching LiveTV, however.
Also, I'm seeing what looks like a bunch of garbage on screen when playing DVD's from the disc drive with 4:3 content... the video is played, but it looks like its playing at its native resolution, so it doesn't fill the screen... and its bordered by a bunch of junk. If the aspect ratio changes to 16:9, it corrects itself. Very odd.
I am using the Nvidia Decoder, and it is happening whether I run Media Portal windowed or full screen. Checking or unchecking the "exlusive fullscreen mode" option in the setup doesn't make any difference either.
