Is there a way to turn off the feature that calls IMDB to see if a video exists or have MP point to only newly added video?

Last night, I got an "OutOfMemory" Exception while doing a Video Database Scan. I read through the forum and the fix was to just disable Autocreate Thumbnail.

Earlier this week I asked if there was a way to prevent the Video Database Scan from re-scanning all of your videos when you just add new movies/series/anime. Most said just use My TV plug in. I would prefer to not have to use multiple plugins for Movies (My TV), anime (My Anime), Series (My TV) and I like the basic MP setup.

I'm up to about 497 files and MP scans all of them everytime I add new content. I fear that I will have some issues the bigger my collection gets or it will start taking a long time to scan.

I really don't want to install one of the plugins but could My TV be used for Movies, Anime and TV Series? I heard this plugin allows you to only scan new content and at this point I would at least be willing to set some time aside and install it.

There is a option for skip already existing videos in Configuration->Video Database/Scan tab "Skip files already in database" which is turned on by default and it's in MP for a long time.

Memory exception has been fixed in 1.2.0 Alpha (thumbnail creation is prevented while scanning so there is no need anymore to turn off that setting) but if you use lower MP version possible fix is to turn off that setting before scan.

Hmm, I just installed MP a few weeks ago and thought I had the newest version.

Also, the option to skip videos already in the database has always been turned on.
