Video Display Structure (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to display the videos within a folder without having to navigate into it?
I have -for the most part- my videos contained within folders, but ideally I would like mediaportal to just pull the video from the folder and display it in the GUI (as if all the videos were in one folder) so I don't need to select the folder and then the video. Have I missed a config option somewhere?

MediaPortal is designed to create a database of all your media.

You should be able to view your videos in database view, rather than "shares" view, in which case it will display all your videos on the same "level" in the GUI.

Thanks! that is exactly what I was wanting - I think I must have played with the settings when first installed and then couldn't work out what I had done wrong
