Video folder takes long to load (1 Viewer)

Hi guys i just started using mediaportal and everything is working fine apart from one video folder that i got which as over 800 video files. when i try access this folder it takes a while to load and play videos etc...

It also sometimes freezes. is there any solution to this?

Is your setting to generate Thumbnails activated in MP Configuration?
Guess that could take a while and slow down your computer while it is busy.

Deactivate that setting and test again to confirm.

I cant find a option to disable it

Open MP Configuration (not sure if Advanced mode is required - change to Advanced just in case - Top right)
Expand General
Select Thumbs
You will find the option there.

i'v got it on advanced mode, but all i see is a slider to set the resolution of the thumbnail

thanks for all your help, I have already done that but has not made any difference. is there anything else that could be causing it?

If it is not that, then you should follow guidelines and post full logs files of the incident.
Maybe someone can pick up something in the logs.
