Ok, I reloaded 1.2 beta, and now I can play some music files with external player MPC-HC. However, I can play only a couple of the many VOB files and most will do nothing. First and foremost, I can open and play all problematic files directly via MPC-HC. Clicking on them via MP will not initiate external player nor show VTS files. Ones that play will first display VTS1-... clicking on the first file will start MPC-HC external player. Interestingly most of my video files are similar format VOB's. Comparing ones that will play and won't play look similar in ripped format. Any ideas? I've include files which hopefully shows the first few files I could not open. The last file was good and opened. If you need more info, I'll be happy to provide. As a note I could not upload the .zip file created by debug.

After doing some experimenting, I'm finding the problem is related to what .ifo file MP tries to read. Most of my video folders have 2 .ifo files, VIDEO_TS.IFO AND VTS_01_0.IFO. The interesting part about this problem is some of my files will be recognized by MP and play, others won't, both having identical file names and extensions. If I remove or change extension on the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, MP will read the folder and play like it should. In previous versions of MP I did not have this problem. All my MKV's play fine.
I am still a newbie in digging into how MP works, but I'd like to help make this program work. There is so much potential here and the flexibility is outstanding.

I also found out creating debug zip files take some time. My files showed up on my desktop a good 20 minutes after trying to create them. It's definitely not my computer, with i7 quad core and 12 Gig ram! Perhaps browser related, using Firefox 4.0 beta?
