Sorry for double posts but I posted a few of these questions in the newcomers forum a few days ago without response.

I am trying to configure my 400 DVD movie collection for MP. I am interested in using the DB with it I can create views etc.

Though I am having a fairly large range of issues that seem to be fairly simple, resolution of any of these would save me a TON of time manually editing the DB not only now but if I ever have to rebuild.

1. Cover Art - Is there anyway to force MP to use my personal cover art in the DB? I know if I place a file called folder.jpg it works in share view but not in a DB based views. The imdb importer overrides these covers when I try and use any view based on the DB... It would be nice if IMDB importer just used the folder.jpg file for covers it it was present and download covers if it was not.

2. Video Prefix's - Is there any way to have the IMDB importer move title prefixes (The, A etc) to the end of the title? Or a way for views to ignore these and order titles alphabetically without them? I would bet I have 60 movies that start with "The", this is a ton of manually editing, especially for a feature that is included in the Music database but seems to be missing from Movies...

3. Views - The music db has the ability to group items and thus create a alphanumeric menu (list titles that start with A, B, C etc). The operator field in the Music views for this is "Group", this operator seems to be missing from Videos. Is there a way to create an alphanumeric menu for videos?

Thank you much:D
