Well it sounds like your hardware is able to keep up, because you had low jitter and low dropped frames, that is good.I would also check the following- What is the fps of the source you are trying to play?- What is the refresh rate of your tv (press the info button on tv, eg. 60hz / 50hz etc)Does the avi file play fine in another player?Run MP in windowed mode, and also press CTRL+ALT+DEL to load task manager, are there CPU spikes during playback, what is CPU useage average/min/max while playing the file.Note - If it is only 1x avi file that has problems, it might just be a bad avi file.
