    that doesn't look like tearing,
    tearing looks like this

    408412027688495

it's horizontal rips in the video because the frames isn't completely updated before the next frame is rendered

Okay and what could be causing this ? Considering there are no video interferences when i run videos in windows ?

impossible to say because you have no system specs.

ASUS P5G41-M with intergrated GMA X4500 graphics (via vga-cabel to a samsung t220)
    1x Crucial DDR2 PC6400 2GB CL6
    Pentium Dual Core™ E5300 2,60GHz

It will be used via hdmi cabel to a 50" plasma.

    Fill out mysystem

eg. operating system / version of mediaprortal / codecs installed / in useage / video card driver
run graphedit with mediaportal in windowed mode to check what codecs are being rendered in the above video

most importantly it's the codecs in useage in graphedit/graphstudio

How can i know what filters are in use in MP?
Use Graphstudio - RadScorpion’s blog MONOGRAM GraphStudio
For the above to work, you may need proppage.dll installed and registered in system32 folder. (use Syswow64 for vista)
    Start MP in window mode.
Start GraphStudio and File->Connect to remote graph and click connect (should be working on Vista too)

If you install and setup SAF and you have some more filters when playing standart video, there is something
    wrong with your system...

GMA X4500 graphics is the problem here (crapy drivers). Use ATI 4550 /nVidia 9400 or 9500 that is cards for HTPC.

GMA X4500 have broken MPEG2 DXVA decoding too (tested on XP), so no HW deinterlacing at all.

Curently it is really useless chipset, i have it too... :(

If you are using FFDShow for all, try to change colorspace in FFDShow Video settings
