Problem: occurs AFTER you open a Video_TS movie, then stop it - results in a black screen over the MP background.
Also when you first go back to the menu screen and then hit stop results in a small black preview window at the bottom left of the screen that will stay there regardless where you go to.
The only way to stop this is to restart MP.

I've tried different video codecs but the result is always the same.

The problem is confirmed by more people. See https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/video_ts-playback-46912/

Log update

I have a new log.zip file because the previous one was not ok.

(In the previous log files are a lot of volume errors logged. But I don't know what that means. Because I don't use 3rd party plugin's for volume. I only use SPDIF to send the audio signal to my reciever.)

Can anybody confirm this is a bug? Or do I do something wrong?

I've got the same problem.

If I return to the main menu and stop the movie the mini display in the lower left hand corner black out as well and stays there until I play another movie.

I've also noticed that while playing a movie the info menu pops up behind the movie.

There is another thread suggesting that this is caused by the VFD minidisplay plugin. You could try disabling that and see if it helps.

    Hello,
I have the same bug and found a solution :)
For me the problem happened for DVD rip only, not avi.
I first realised that if I change the video renderer from EVR to VRM9 it solves the problem, but I want to use EVR!
Then I searched and found that I have a ffdshow profile that automatically runs for avi files but not for DVD files. I created a ffdshow profile for DVD files and now the problem is fixed.
I think that it's by chance that I can solve the problem like that, as it's probably a bug that needs to be fix in MP.
