I need someone to help i have a videomate k200 remote with usb ir reciever and it does not work on xp professional. Is there another driver for this instead of vista.

Or is there anything else you can suggest.

On product requirments it says the following:
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium / Ultimate / or MCE 2005
The Tv Card needs to have Vista x86/x64 drivers and pci audio support for tv watch/record in media center feature.
availible USB 1.1/20 port.

Is it necessary to install windows vista

Hi as per my previous title .

Is it necessary to install a Vista Operating system or MCE 2005. I have windows XP Professional and installed the media portal. Everything except the TV is not working with a TV card and the videomate K200 remote with USB IR.

I dont have any other plugins or cabling or other types of recievers .

I need help as this is complecated.

does anyone live in johannesburg Randburg that I can pay a fee to come and look at my system and tell me where i have gone wrong.
