Videos/Movies jump to random spots?? (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and possibly a solution.

When watching a movie file, the movie will play fine for about 10 minutes usually, and then jump to a random spot in the movie, usually about 10-15 minutes forwards or backwards. This just started happening.

On a side not, I had media portal on another computer and it did the same thing.

Is it a codec issue? It ran fine before, but recently started doing this (since 1.02 I'd say)

codecs used: K-lite codec pack, AC3filter, haali media splitter).

suggestions?



oh note, when playing videos in Windows Media Player they play fine. Files are MKV.

This happened to me when i had a wireless mouse and keyboard attached to my HTPC.

A previous tred i found here offered reasons for that, now i only plug them in when i need to use them.

Just my 5c, in case you are also using wireless mouse or keyboard.
