Videos not showing in 1.0.1.0 (1 Viewer)

Just installed 1.0.1.0 and everything seems to work fine (even radio which refused to work for me for the last few updates) except for videos, nothing is showing up when I select videos from the home screen, the menu states the view is filmstrip which I cant change even though list is selected in mp config. Paths are all correct in config and the files are .avi which worked fine in every other version of mp.
Same problem with all skins.

How about Blue3wide, can you see video's from there, or is it you just cannot play the files, whichever skin you use.

Same problem here, i now use moving pictures and the videos are now showing up

Which view are you using, shares or title

Might be a corrupted mediaportal.xml other wise, just rename to mediaportalold.xml and reconfigure and see if that makes a difference, or move the videodatabase out of the database folder in user files, again rescan, see if anything has changed.

Nothing I've tried so far works, nothing shows up - not even the folders, looks like I'll have to try moving pictures.
Is there anyway to replace this myvideos plugin with the one from mp 1??

I have the same problem as well after upgrading to 1.0.1. I'm using moving pictures but I only get sound and no video.

Same here but when i go back to main menu and click the second butten on top i see the movie but with the menu. so how can i disable that little menu?

Just did a complete uninstall and reinstall and now it works

@pd where is mediaportal.xml located ?? I've looked everywhere, even a file search comes back with no results, If this does not work then it's time for a full reinstall (which I'm not looking forward to )
