    Hallo

I made a manuall scan of my harddrive after viruses, and my antivirus software fund viruses inside two of the svn files a have downloaded some time ago.
    Could this be true?

    I use Kaspersky 6.0

detected: Trojan program Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.yo File: D:\download\MediaPortal-svn--10-15-2006--11-41-Rev11075.exe

Either they got infected on your computer or it's a false positive. All MP files get checked before anything gets published.

(I verified the file MediaPortal-svn--10-07-2006--19-58-Rev10914.exe. The other one doesn't exist as a download.)

    Here we go again,

As said before MP does NOT contain trojans/viruses
We are very carefull when distributing a new release and each release
is also verified by SoftPedia to be completely clean of adware/viruses/trojans:
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Players/MediaPortal.shtml

We already posted about this issue before:
    https://www.team-mediaportal.com/news/global/mediaportal_is_spyware.html

So how come your files are infected?
    I think:

    1) you either downloaded the MP files from an unoffical source
    OR
    2) These files got infected since your PC was already infected.
