Vista - Video problem (1 Viewer)

Hi, im totally new to this nice program.

Im having a little issue, i have installed the newest stable build on Windows Vista Ultimate.

But when i start the TV or an video the picture get in front of all the menus.

I have tried with both Nvidia Purevideo and Dscaler with the same issue?

    Have you enabled EVR under Directshow filter control, also which skin are you using

    Actually a picture would be good, use the vista sniping tool to capture a screenshot, and then go to this post, click advanced, the arrow next to the + sign, click on that and it will open up a browser on your pc, select your picture, press upload, close browser window when upload finishes, just then use the + and select the file you want and it will be placed where the cursor is flashing.

    Where do i enable EVR Directshow filter control? I use the standard blue two wide...

    Im missing that option. I only have decoders.. Have i missed something under the installation?

    Whoops my fault, are you using 0.2.2.0 stable, that's why you have not got the options.

    For the problem you have, might be worth uninstalling and install 0.2.3.0 RC3.

    ps. have not seen that before, so something well screwed on your setup, any problems with vista.

    Ok ill try that first thing tomorrow. I havent got any other problems with Vista, and its a fairly new install.

    Thx for your help i will reply when i get the result of the upgrade tomorrow.

    I just tried to just install the RC3 version, but with the same result :confused: Could this be an Vista Issue? Would it help to try to install Windows XP?

    Did you delete previous Mediaportal folders, both under program files and program data (needs to show hidden files, under organize\folder and search options) or you may have left corrupt settings from the previous install.

    I am using Vista with no problems as you can see.
