The MP installer suggests that Visual C++ 2008 is not installed and downloads and installs it whenever the installer is run. This is despite Windows (Add Remove) showing that it is installed. I have tried manually uninstalling and letting MP installer install the program. This makes no difference.

A {possibly} related problem is that there is no video displayed on the preview screen - only audio. When full screen is chosen both audio and video are OK. Recording is fine too.

I have installed the dvb hotfix, too.

Any suggestions welcome.

Log file attached.

Many thanks
