I was wondering if there is any architectural issue preventing VLC from being integrated into MP, just like the devs are doing right now with Media Player Classic and Dscaler. If there is no such issue, given the huge number of features (codecs, post-processing and streaming capabilities) this nice program already has, I think it would be a nice addition to our beautiful MP.
I know you can already use VLC as your external player, passing some text parameters to almost seamlessly integrate it with MP, but this solution forces you to some compromises (like losing the bookmarks on video files, or the stacking feature on divxs), so a complete integration would be a definitely better solution.
