Hi, I've been configuring Media portal for 2 days and I'm really glad of the result with the EPG and all... The only thing i'm unable to get to work is the volume control of my VMC Remote control. The mute button works fine but I can't use volume up or down. The volume control on my laptop keyboard works fine but not the mute button. I think media portal or window xp pro is misinterprating the two different controls. Everything was fine on my DELL OEM VISTA HOME with media center. My laptop is a dell inspiron 1720 and did come with Vista media center package and remote control. I've been trying to change the remote mapping in media portal without success. maybe if i could link my remote control volume buttons to my windows xp audio mixer master control, it would be fine...but i have no clue on how to do this...
