Hi

I have the strange issue with VMR9, I just downgraded from Vista to XP,
did a clean install of System and MP
cofigured everything
everything is working except VMR9.
If I use VMR9 I get no picture at all but sound.

If I use EVR (.net3 installed) I get picture and sound.

I want to use VMR9 though, because of HW acceleration.

The strange thing is: I had exactly the same issue in Vista!

Can someone give me a hint please?

Have you increased Windows font size or PPT?
This gives a black window only when using DX - w/sound.

I found a solution:

It seems that MP is not always using the Codec settings in confuration!
Even though I configured PDVD as Video Codec, Graphedit showed Dscaler Codec, which was not configured at all and therefore showed no picture.
Setting the merits manually fixed the problem for me. Now PDVD is used and VMR w HWAccel is working again....
strange, huh?

Still need logs?
I could provide them then...
