I use AC3Filter with the SPDIF as PCM trick to get DTS output working correctly with an external USB soundcard.
*something* (potentially watching AVI videos) is causing the WAV volume level to drop to 50%. For the SPDIF as PCM trick to work the volume levels need to be at 100%.
1) Can anyone tell me why the volume levels might be dropping to 50% when *some* media is played or how to fix this.
2) Even better, is it possible for another tick box to be added below the "Use AC3Filter..." tickbox in the DVD section called "Set Main and WAV volume to maximum when playing a DVD". An option to set all volumes to maximum when playing ANY media would also be appreciated.
Any ideas?
