Volume Problem - Turn it down and then i cant turn it back up? (1 Viewer)

When watching a movie, listening to music or watching the TV. I turn the volume down, then when i try to turn it back up it does nothing, the bar in the volume meter stops moving as well... i have to manually go into the sound car mixer to get it back up to full volume.

Can anyone help me?
