I receive the following error a lot when starting to browse the forums:
"This forum requires that you wait 5 seconds between searches"

Normally I would do the following:
    • Open IE at https://forum.team-mediaportal.com
    • Click "New posts" and then "English forums only"
    • Get the error
    • Wait a few seconds
    • Click "New posts" and then "English forums only"
    • Now it works

From work I am using IE6 and from home IE7. Same problem on both versions.

Any idea why I have to do it twice?

It's been happening since the forum upgrade. They've lowered the limit from 15 to 5 seconds. Don't know if that's the permanent *fix* or just an interim measure while they work out the problem.

Hope we (better say vbulletin) finally found a solution for this annoying issue, please let me know if this false 'double-click-action' still occurs for anyone.

which browser? Please be sure to clean your local cache too, otherwise the .js file might be still the outdated one.
Ive tried hundreds of searches since yesterday with ie7 and ff3 and didnt run a single time again into that issue (before one of five).

    Cleared the cache yesterday.
This is about the 3rd error today.
The screenshot include the time (although I know you might be in a diff zone).
