Use MCE standby tool, to configure your computer settings to make sure it supports standby hibernate correctly.
Once you have configured standby settings within powerscheduler, it should just be a matter of leaving MP in home screen, for the time you have set.
If you are still having problems then follow the support link at bottom of my sig and supply as much info as you can regarding your setup.
