I get this error then MediaPortal goes black upon start. I have installed the latest Nvidia Drivers and DirectX 9. I have also updated my Twinhan BDA drivers to the latest (1.030). Any suggestions?

Adding the card in configuration works fine and auto-tuning also works fine, no problems in there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

00:11 < [-yfni-]> I've got a solution for this problem:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/fi...+be+ren dered
00:16 < [-yfni-]> download wait100.zip ( http://www.wcscnet.com/Freeware.htm ). Create a batch file (.bat). You need only two lines. 1st line has to be something like:
wait.exe [number of seconds]. and with the 2nd line you start mediaportal :]. After you're finished creating the batch file, add it to your startup.

Don't understand, what should i do with the .bat file?

However i'm not sure this will help me. Because this occurs when I start manually. How can there be a delay?

    Hi SplinteR,

hm. OK, I thought the error happens when you boot the pc and autostart mp...

Did you check if your directx setup is working correctly (with dxdiag.exe)??

    Ciao,

Oh, i ran Dxdiag and it says that Direct3D functions are unavailable.

    DirectDraw: unavailable
    Direct3D: unavailable
    AGP-structure acceleration: unavailable

I can do the DirectDraw test and it works, but the Direct3D test is grey.

It says the main driver is: RDPDD.dll

    Version: 5.01.2600.2180

Did you resolve this issue? I am getting the exact same warning BUT only when the PC is waking up to do a recording or some such. If I wake it without a scheduled recording, then everything is OK. I can then start MP OK.
    Thanks
