Watching & Recording Live TV with MP - Quick Q's (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

Any help appreciated for new user.

New to watching and recording TV from PC, using USB 2.0 Dual DVBT TV dongle with 2 channel capability. Testing MP as the software that came with the USB is not so hot.

3 Quick Q's:

1. When MP is open how do you minimize the window. Can't see this icon anywhere to get back to desktop but not close the program?

2. How do I switch between the 2 channels (dual dongle) when watching or recording on the first?

3. The DVB Sources doesn't find anything, yet the Web EPG plugin does. Any ideas why the standard DVB does not find them?

Also my first software that came with the Dongle does find the DVB sources.

1. If you are running MP in fullscreen, you can TAB out of it (Alt+ TAB) or show the desktop and thereby minimize it (Windows + D)

2. Assuming your channels are scanned and mapped correctly in TV-Server, you can use F7 and F8 to switch channel

3. If you mean the DVB EPG is not filled, then maybe none of your cards are set to allow EPG grapping? Other things can be wrong, but try this first...

Thanks for the fast response.

I've been having a read through the forum about the DVB EPG not working. My EPG Grabber setting seems ot be as advised but still nothing. Any further things to try out?

Quick unrelated Q for you. This may be a coincidence or could be a virus of some kind but since installing MP on my desktop or 2 small white squares, top left. I can't get these to move or delete or do anything. I'll also ask this in the main forum on its own thread just in case you have no idea.

Any ideas?
