Due to the new animations the screens are hidden until all elements are loaded.

1. Try to enter the weather plugin.
2. Now the menu is faded into the blue background, and all infos (and i think pictures) are loading. In this time the screen keeps blue without any animations or informtion for the user that it is still working.

   This is the time where i can't do anything. Perhaps this depends on the internet connection.

I am not sure if it is a real bug, but the 'working'-animation should be shown when loading the weather plugin.

MyWeather still works like it should with svn build from today.

I can confirm the bug started with SVN 11679.

Blue background, no loading circle animation.

Just tried svn 11701 and the same bug is there.

It is more obvious the first time you enter 'weather' after you start MP as data is accessed from the web, subsequent times and the effect isn't so obvious but still there during the MP session.

i think that it is realted to the internetconnetcion. and how fast the sources for weather images / data are responding.

will try to get my internet connection busy and then enter MyWeather.

in theory MediaPortal should first enter MyWeather and then start to load the data.

That is how it has always worked for me with prior to svn 11679.

My internet connection is 8mb and can normaly download files at over 400kB/s

That is true but it doesn't explain the blank scren while loading (if the data is slow).

Doesn't explain why the blank screen is a major problem on the very first run of weather when MP has just started or that subsequent re-entries into weather aren't so affected .

Also doesn't explain why an earlier svn doesn't show the effect.
