Web access to Music collection (1 Viewer)

Ok, this is probably a long way off but the new WebGuide for TVE3 got me thinking.. wouldn't it be nice to have web access to my music collection from anywhere on the net..
I guess most people store their music on their tv server so the machine would be running anyway if you wanted access to the WebGuide, we could have a 'MediaPortal Web Client' for access to the guide, recorded tv (maybe even live streaming?), music collection.

Like I said i'm sure there are more pressing issues but what do people think?
Would anyone use something like this ?

As I like a similar idea I went for a better solution - after building up a profile I can listen all my favorite music via last.fm - everywhere without any storage

I would definitely like to see this implemented into the webinterface.

Until it is I am using Zina. It is a php based library of your music and it runs on a web server. it can probably be added to the server in TV3. You can find it her: http://www.pancake.org/zina

Or you can use Orb from www.orb.com. It allows you to access all of your media from anywhere, not just music.
