Web Browser Plugin working in 0.2.0.4 ?

I am wondering if anyone can confirm if the Web Browser plugin is working with 0.2.0.4 ? Im sure I had it working on one of the RC's but just get the following error message when I enter the plugin option from the config screen.

I am running Firefox 1.5.0.7 and installed Mozilla ActiveX Control 1.7.12. I have tried 2.0.4 and the nightly from last night to no avail.

I understand that the plugin was pulled from .2 as it wasnt being developed any longer, but was wondering if there was a simple fix I can do to get it to run again.

ric9887, I also remember that it was working fine in the last RC before 0.2 was released.

Now I have the same problem as you, and miss it a lot.

Do we have the Source Code for this plugin?

The problem is that in the zip of the plugin one dll is missing. It is needed to control the activex.
After copying the interop dlls for the activex form an old installation, the plugin runs on my computer with MP 0.2.0.4 and Mozilla ActiveX 1.7.12.
I have attached those two files in a zip. Only copy them to the main directory of MP and it should work.
If this was the problem of you all, it would be good if one the admins could update the file on the main page.

excellent. I looked everywhere for that file. I feel stoopid for missing it.

I'm using .2.10 and the web browser works almost... it shows pages like www.google.ca... but if I try and access a page like www.hotmail.com it just exits right out of MP...

I think the web browser plugin is awesome and I hope somebody can help us MP users get it to work!
