WebEPG line-up off by one day [potential bug report] (1 Viewer)

hi,

I use WebEPG and the Tele?oche provider (exclusively) to retrieve my program guide.

I noticed an annoying problem that maybe only happens with me: the program guide is 24h late (i.e. "l'homme au pistolet d'or" is said to be broadcasted tomorrow at 01:25 - on TF1 - but in fact it was played today, at the same hour). Every channels and every programs are affected as far as I can see. The TVGuide.xml content seems shifted by 24h in the past, however the original website (tele?oche.fr) is accurate.
I can't cross-check with other providers because telepoche is the only one to be usable for french people.

[edit] the idea to cloak the EPG provider names is wise, thanks for the tip.
forgot to mention taht I'm running 0.2.0.4

hello,
thanks for bringing these threads to my attention. Nevertheless, the experience I have with the Tele?oche grabber is not mentionned anywhere from your links. Were you aware of this time shifting? Is it a reason why you don't use Tele?oche as an EPG provider? If it's a bug, its fixing will make tele?oche perfectly operational (no need to use xmltv then). It may even benefit everybody if this is not directly related to a specific grabber. Otherwise I will consider posting this message in the french forum, where it's more likely to get appropriate attention.

have a nice day

    Hi, :)
I have already written in MP french forum for example here.

So, to resolve, please, go to configuration/television/program guide and click on clear all program from database.
You're right, what I have seen too is when you use webepg (with provider tele*oche but, maybe with others) if you have no information for a days with a specific channel and informations for others days with others channels, sometimes, information from first channel is duplicated day by day.
I believe Broceliande and James know this issue, as they work for rewriting/improve webepg; that's why I haven't talk about it in MP french forum.
For now, using xmltv 0.5.44 (wich is grabbing tele*oche) with MP, you can create scheduled task in configuration/television/program guide and this is working fine for french users, actually.
May be if you search in MP french forum with keywords xmltv and webepg, you could find some informations. ;)

If you want more informations about that please, post in MP french forum so, it could be interesting for all french users. ;)
And remember to always mask provider(s) as I have seen before, when we talk too often about it without precaution, some days later, grabbers became non-functionals.

    Cheers. :)

Same ill behaviour using xmltv. My program guide is still one day late. Will investigate further on my own when I have more spare time (maybe).

Posted this same note on mediaportal-fr.com too.

I'll give this grabber a test, to see if the time and day grabbed info are one day late or not. The wired thing is that you experience the same issue with xmltv. Just in case , could you check your systeme date/time ..( maybe sounds stupid but has to be done as well ).
