    Hi all WebEPG users,

    I have been working on a re-write of WebEPG for a long time now and although it is not yet fully complete, it is ready to go to wider testing. So the code is now in the SVN and will be included in all future SVN builds.

    Many improvements are code based, making the code easy to expand and maintain.

    The major new feature is the support for flexible templates. These currently use a limited range of regex to enable parts of the template to be optional.

    More additions will come soon ;)

    Hi,

    I'm not so keen on jumping on the SVN train again, is it possible to extract the new WepEPG files from the SVN build? Which files and dirs do I need?

    I'm really keen on testing the new version and try to create some new grabbers.

    /Martin

    If you put the follow files / directories into their own directory WebEPG should run stand alone (no garantees).

    database/
    log/
    WebEPG/
    xmltv/
    Core.dll
    Database.dll
    sqlite.dll
    WebEPG.dll
    WebEPG.exe

    @All
    I was lucky enough to be able to try this before publication, i can only confirm that it works perfectly, we now have a Flemish grabber that finally is able to proviode sublisting info :)

    James
    First of all: :D for all the hard work

    Things that i might suggest to put high on your todolist:
    * Bring logging back to the detail level of the old grabber
    * Make WebEPG-Channels working again
    * A new documented-grabber.xml example
    * Document which tags are NOT exported to the xmltv file (because of lacking MP support)

    These are really only humble suggestions.

    Cheers, Marc

    Is anyone else having problems with mp failing to resume either to record a program or using the mce remote after the WebEPG has downloaded a new set of programs? See the above link for more details of my problem. I'm not sure if this is a WebEPG problem or a power Schedule problem. Looking at my logs, the scheduler sets a wakeup correctly for the WebEPG grab which works fine. However after the grab the power schedule stuff suspends the PC but it does not create a wakeup event for scheduled programs to be recorded nor does it seem to wake up when the mce remote is used. If I don't use the built in WebEPG schedule
    then everything is fine.

    Anyone else seeing this?

    Andy

    PS All of this with very recent svn.
