    Hi,

I'm using WebEPG since a couple of days now, but unfortunately the EPG entries are exactly one day behind (means instead of todays entries I can see yesterdays entries). The date information within the EPG, the date and time info on server and client are correct. Is there any switch I missed?

    Cheers

P.S. I'm using German's tvinfo as EPG source

Found this link to a thread with similar problems. Reason there was the time of downloading the EPG data. Tried to shift the download time from the default value to 18:00. Now it works fine for me :D

If the logs are nevertheless from interest, please give me a hint.

    Cheers

    Logs are always welcome.;)

I do not know which grabbers you are using so I cannot comment on whether it is possible to be WebEPG's fault or not. There was once a bug regarding the calculation of Epoch_Time and Epoch_Date that is now fixed and I do not know if this has affected some grabbers relying on the wrong implementation. In the thread you have linked the grabbers mentioned all use absolute dates so WebEPG cannot be at fault, rather the sites provide different data for the same queries depending on time of day.

Unfortunately from the logs it is not possible to know if the site is providing false data at the time of the grab. You have to test yourself. I.e. stay awake one night and at the time you had originally scheduled your grab, browse the site and see the data yourself. If what you see there does not correspond to the actual program for the requested day, then there is nothing to be done on the WebEPG side.

    Hi arion_p:
I've got the same issue here.
what do you mean with "check the site" ? You mean the program guide at the german tvtoday's website (in my case)?

That is what I mean, but you have to do it at the time of day that WebEPG is scheduled to run and grabs wrong data.

    Hi arion_p,

thanks for your reply. I'm using tvinfo, not tvtoday as SvenZ. This might be a hint that it's not the fault of the data source. Further on the issue happens with the default grab time of webepg. I assume that more complains would come, if this would be a datasource issue. I'm using WHS. Might this give a hint?

    Best regards

    Henning

BTW: Is there a reason, why the visible (not the used) settings in the webepg plugin are reset each time I exit and enter the tv server settings (4 o'clock as download time, no weekday selected, 2 days data download...)

I cannot reproduce it here so without logs I have no idea.

    What a quick reply! Thanks!

For the 2nd issue logs are easy (attached). Creation procedure was as follows:
    - server logs cleared
    - server config started
    - change displayed settings from
    - 2 days to 14 days grabbing
    - select all weekdays for grabbing
    - modify grab time from 0400 to 1800
    - save within webepg plugin
    - exit server config with ok
    - re-enter server config (visible settings are reset to default again)
    - leave server config
    - zip log files

The first one is more complicated. The system is operational and used for lots of recordings. I don't have a 2nd server for test. I have cleared the logs right now and will post tomorrow a "good case" log. Maybe this will already help.

Please post your WebEPG.xml (it is in %ProgramData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\WebEPG). There seems to be something wrong with it, and need to see what and why. If this is what I suspect it has been fixed in SVN 23542.
