Guys,

I'm getting weird EPG graphics artefacts. Please see the photo and video below:

I get this all the time when I've set antialiasing and anisotropic filtering right down. When pushing these setting up, the EPG artefacts disappear, but I then get TV stuttering which is obviously worse!

Can anyone help?

Cheers,
Kev.

Nope, there have been similar posts long time ago. Something in the graphics card/driver/directx combination/configuration didn't play well for those guys, if I remember correctly.

Do a search, those posts are quite old.

    Hi,
No you're not the first, have seen this with old beta drivers from nvidia & some bad images used as "channel image", but not lately.

Seems to be related to nvidia graphic cards, but who knows?

    Regards
    Roy

    Guys,

I think you are right and this is a Nvidia problem. I am using 2 displays (an LCD via DVI-D and a projector via HDMI) in clone mode. I've just tried setting the display to one display only and everything is displayed properly.

I hope they get this fixed as I use the LCD as the daytime TV and projector at night - it will be a pain to have to change the graphics properties to swap between the two.
Perhaps I can assign a button on the remote to do this for me...

    Thanks for the pointer :)

    Kev.
