Kinda new here (as far as actually posting and not just installing all the svn's
),
so forgive me if this isn't the right place to post this under.
But I was wondering if anyone has the same 'problems' ??
But let me start off by saying I'm
A: a big fan of MP.. lovin' it to bits
B: a pro-developer myself so I know how hard it can be
and hence not badmouthing MP or any of it's developers!
problem 1: When using the TVServer setup.. channels are found find, but
since about a week or 2 I don't get the dvb-epg anymore. Funny thing though
is that every time, no matter if I disable them in the config, ALL the RADIO channels are added to the dvb list and NONE of the TV ones???
(doesn't find the radio ones though, but I think my provider doesn't include
the epg for radio actually so that makes sense)
Tried a fresh install of the dbase first and later a totally new install, but no luck.
(couldn't find anything like this in the bug area's sofar)
problem 2: Again with the TVServer.. and I've seen some of this in other postings too, switching channels sometimes is very messy. Channels get skipped or the server goes to high cpu load for a while after which it simply selects the first channel in my list (or hangs) any tips on this??
problem 3: trying to catch-up with the livestream results most of the time in
ending up in the stream several seconds before I pressed the button. Only
after trying several time I get close to 'live' (yes there will always be a small lag I know ) This is in MP on the pc running the TVServer, when I try it in vlc on another.. I usually end up 15-30 minutes before 'live' and trying to skip to the end results in vlc crashing (not a MP issue). Am I doing this wrong (pressing the right arrow button on the mce remote ) or .. ??
problem 4: Can't get the streams in a MP client on a different computer although
vlc does work! (without the skipping yes )
Any input? Anyone??
