I have a strange problem with recordings from encrypted TV channels. As seen above, I use a FloppyDTV S2 with a Cryptoworks 2.0 module in order to watch encrypted austrian tv channels (ORF). The process of recording works fine, I can schedule a recording via the EPG, the power scheduler will wake the PC up etc. (I also activated the reinitialize option), the recording will start and end properly... everything seems to be in order, except the resulting MPEG file itself.
When I try to run it in MediaPortal, MediaPortal.exe attempts to consume 100% CPU power an simply hangs. The same thing happens if I try to view the mpeg file with Windows Media Player. It will require 100% CPU power and hang. Media Player Classic however will play the file... but in fast motion! Video and Audio are played in fast motion... very weird.
This seems to happen only with encrypted channels. At least so far all the recordings from encrypted channels have this problem and none of normal channels. I don't know if this is a problem of the TV server itself, it might very well be a problem of the FloppyDTV card... which would be very disappointing, since I bought this card specifically for the use in MediaPortal in conjunction with a Cryptoworks 2.0 CAM in order to watch and record those encrypted tv channels.
Any help would be appreciated
//edit: I also appended the logs of one attempt to play such a recording
