The latest version of Media Player Classic - Home Cinema got the support of madVR videorenderer. Seems to be a very good thing.
Is it possible to realise the support of that videorenderer in the upcoming version of MP?
I don't know if it makes any difference, but MPC-VR is open source too, so that might make it easier to integrate if you can access the code to see what it's doing.
