What do I need to do to make a sufficient SVN-update?
I actually feel rather stupid asking this – I might just be that case! – but I can’t figure out ‘how important’ it is to update the TVserver? (compared to the client!)
Updating the client is nice and easy, but (hopefully) the –nice– developers make changes to the server-part as well!?!
- Not to mention that changes done in client SVN-updates might actually REQUIRE an updated tvserver!
It’s just that you have to actually uninstall the server, and install the new one instead, if you wish to update – a bit much to do once a week (or daily for that matter)!
If it is recommended that you update the server as frequent as the client, is it then possible to make it more ‘update-like’?
