Hi,

today I've created some files for a new skin. It would be interested to hear your feedback, I planned a mix from different skins Foofaraw, Blue Two, MP Gold. This is my first experienece with xml-coding :) I've reduced some graphics in home from apx. 500kb to 30kb, this should take some effects to the performens of MP.

I'll try to include only the main functions for a htpc, music, radio, dvd, video, and tv. There will be only a basic home screen, and no gimmicks like tetris or other plugins that are unuseful in my opinion, but it's would be nice to hear what plugins you going to use in MP.

The homescreen could watch like the attached image and shows an Audi R8. So I'll like to give this screen the name Racing R8 or Lord of the Rings :D

Okay, for all who like to have another background...

...I've changed something ;)

Now you could save a .png file under c:\MediaPortal.png and you'll see it as background. If you like, you could replace it e.g. with a pic of your children.

that looks great, keep it up!

one thing though... that bar where the play/pause/next etc buttons are placed on looks slightly wrong in scale (it looks stretched somehow)...

The second version looks way better than the one in the first post! Wondering why you modded the license plate, though...

Do you mean the number on the plate?!?

That's the number from my old car and my son has this pic as wallpaper and the plate on the wall of his room :)
