Hello Folks,
I have a 100% working iMON pad + VFD. I am using iMON Manager 7.77 + RC1's inbuilt minidisplay plugin.
What I want to do is remap the frontpanel buttons. Especially the backbutton needs to be remapped as it works as "backspace" and should be mapped to "ESC". Furthermore it would be great if the frontpanel volume knob could be used to scroll through menus as vol+ vol- doesn't work anyway on my setup (audio gets forwarded to my Yamaha receiver via hdmi).
Can this be achieved by using IRSS?
I read the "documentation" as well as the "FAQ" and it did not contain an introduction like "IRSS is a tool to <insert functions here>". At least I did not find the information. So basically I have no idea what IRSS does afterall
I see that there is quite a lot of work done in this forum and IRSS looks quite advanced so you really got me curious
Does IRSS replace iMON manager or the minidisplay plugin? Does it add to the "remote"-tab of the configuration? Is it used to SEND IR signals rather than to receive them (appropriate hardware provided)?
Many plugin-forums start with a sticky thread which (along with download links and version history) describes what the plugin is about and which premises need to be fullfilled to use it. That really helps to get a rough idea of what you are dealing with.
Cheers and thanks a lot!
